Andrew has been owner-manager of UK communications design consultancy 'Unity' for over 19 years www.unityworks.co.uk. As an 'information design' specialist, Andrew has been involved in a wide range of training and educational projects in most business and public sectors but predominantly public health, local government, pharmaceutical and IT/ telecoms. Since 1991 Andrew has been involved predominantly with internet-related projects, from the early development of websites for organisations such as The Royal Society, Bank of England, Zeneca and The EMI Group through to fully integrated intranets, extranets and public-facing portals for the Royal Navy and the MoD.
Andrew was also co-founder of Camford Publishing Ltd, The Knowledge Forum Ltd and is a Trustee and Director of the Cambridgeshire Drug Action Trust. He has been a visiting lecturer (graphic design and communications) to a number of UK degree courses and was a Non Executive Board member of Cambridge and Huntingdon Health Authority 1995 to 1998.
Andrew has a passionate interest in the future of knowledge sharing, the development of online community, the public ownership of information and the opportunity of the internet.
