Jordi Pigem

Jordi PigemĀ holds a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Barcelona. He devoted his doctoral work to the intercultural thought of the philosopher and theologian Raimon Panikkar, being also the author of the edition and introduction ofĀ Raimon Panikkar, Ecosophy: the wisdom of the EarthĀ (2021). From 1998 to 2003 he was a professor of Philosophy of Science in the Masters in Holistic Science at the Schumacher College in England. He currently teaches several courses in Spanish universities. He is the author, amongst other books, of the following Spanish titles:Ā Pandemic and post-truth: Life, consciousness and the fourth industrial revolutionĀ (2021),Ā Thus speaks the EarthĀ (2021),Ā Angels or robots: the human condition in the hyper-technological societyĀ (2018), andĀ Vital intelligence: a postmaterialist vision of life and consciousnessĀ (2016). He was granted the Philosophical Award of the Institute of Ā Catalan Studies in 1999, the Essay Award ofĀ Resurgenceand the Scientific and Medical Network in 2006, and the prestigious Joan Maragall Award in 2016.
