Kimon Valaskakis

Kimon Valaskakis is the former Canadian Ambassador to the OECD. He is currently professor of economics at the University of Montreal and Senior Fellow at Group Futuribles International in Paris, a futures oriented think-tank. He was previously president of the Gamma Institute, a Canadian forecasting and planning research center and chairman of ISOGROUP Consultants an international strategy firm. He is the author of eight books and over a hundred articles. An earlier version of this paper was presented at the OECD Forum on 21st Century Governance in Hanover Germany in March 2000.
