Prabir K. Neogi

Prabir K. Neogi is a Special Advisor, Electronic Commerce Branch, Spectrum, Information Technologies and Telecommunications Sector, Department of Industry, Government of Canada. He has a B. Eng. from Calcutta University (India) and a Ph.D. (engineering) from London University (GB). His areas of interest include broadband infrastructure deployment, e-business adoption, digital divide issues and the socio-economic implications of the widespread adoption and use of information and communications technologies. Particularly interested in the widespread adoption of General Purpose Technologies (steam, electricity, ICTs) and their enabling and transformative impacts.
